Leif Mannerstrom is the undisputed wise man of Swedish gastronomy and has, after almost 50 years in the profession, an impressive list of credits. With unerring perception he created "new Swedish cuisine" together with Christer Svantesson in the 1970s. Since 1994 he has been the owner of the famous restaurant, Sjomagasinet, in Goteborg. Leif Mannerstrom already has three books behind him: Johanna's Secrets, and Dinner Tips, co-authored with Christer Svantesson, as well as Fish and Shellfish for All the Senses. For a wider audience, Leif Mannerstrom is known as a TV and radio chef. His many distinctions include being appointed Chef of Chefs two times — elected by his chef colleagues!
