The Swedish right for title were recently acquired by Ersatz, Sweden.

Vladimir Makanin's impressive work Underground, or A Hero of Our Times has now come out in Norway at Cappelen Damm and was enjoyed wonderful press The title is now sold to 8 countries including Germany (Luchterhand) and France (Gallimard) and has been recently acquired by Forlaget Vandkunsten, Denmark.

More amazing news on Mikhail Shishkin – the world English rights to his recent novel Pismovnik / Letterbook have now been acquired by Quercus, UK - the publisher who won the British Publisher of the Year Award 2011!

Mikhail Shishkin’s novel Maiden’s Hair has won the 2011 Haus der Kulturen der Welt International Literature Award, given annually to the best work of international literature translated into German. A distinguished jury chose Shishkin’s masterful novel from over 100 translations from 24 languages submitted by publishers from all over the German-speaking world.
